The Tankless Gas Water Heater Won't Blow Up!

Sometimes the traditional gas tank water heater looks so old fashion that the image of it hearkens back to the “Rock People” episode of the 1960’s Cold War sci-fi program Voyage To The Bottom of The Sea. That episode had all the submarine’s crew shirtless, sweating and shoveling coal into a huge furnace so as to heat the Rock People’s domain.

Yes, as dumb as it was, the show was a huge hit in the 1960’s. Go figure.

And, despite being twenty years behind the times, people still seem to love that goofy gas water tank heater despite the myriad of problems and troubles that it can cause. For some reason, they still haven't caught on to the tankless gas water heater. Go figure.

On a side note, why is there a ‘danger’ notch on those old tanks? You know, the part of the knob that if you turn it to that the whole tank can explode. Wouldn’t it be safer just to not LET THE KNOB TURN THE HEAT UP THAT HIGH? It is as if there is a possible reason that blowing up one’s home that would be considered a good reason. Then again, maybe we'd be better off simply buying a tankless gas water heater.

Then again, it gives some horror movies a cool ending.

But life isn’t a movie and with the traditional water tank one has to accept the troubles that come with it. Or, one can always dump the traditional tank and get a tankless gas water heater. The tankless gas water heater offers instant water heating without the insane problem of running out of hot water. How on earth can a society that has made it to the 21st century run out of hot water? Mainly because some people are still living in the 19th century and haven’t explored the option of a gas tankless water heater which is a far wiser choice than the dopey traditional one.

Get with the program and buy a tankless gas water heater and never have a sleepless night worrying about your home going supernova ever again.
